Favorang takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about how your private information is protected, collected and used. 1. Coverage

This policy covers how Favorang treats personal information that Favorang collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Favorang. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Favorang does not own or control, or to people that Favorang does not employ or manage.

2. General

Favorang collects personal information when you register with Favorang, when you add optional data to your profile, import or input your contact information, and when you visit Favorang pages or the pages of certain Favorang partners.

a) When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, country, zip/postal code, state, city, industry, job function, company, and job title.

b) Once registered, you may enhance your profile by adding information in the My Profile section. This includes describing your overall professional profile, professional experiences, educational experiences, other qualifications and networking objectives. Your default profile visible to other members does not include contact information, but members may opt in to publish contact information such as email address and Skype ID.

c) You may also elect to import and/or invite your contacts. This information may include name, email address, company and job title. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your invitation and reminders and provide a listing of your contacts in the My Contacts section. All information you input or import on your contacts will only be visible to you and not by other members.

d) When you register with Favorang and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous. Favorang collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners. Favorang automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Favorang cookie information, and the page you request. Favorang may use information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Favorang does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

a) We may provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Favorang under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Favorang communicate with you about offers from Favorang and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

b) We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Favorang's Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

c) Favorang offers an external profile feature which allows users to publish some or all of their Favorang profile, including your name, to the public Internet. Users may opt-out of this feature.

d) We will transfer information about you if Favorang is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Favorang will notify you before information about you is transferred. Favorang may display targeted advertisements based on personal information. Favorang does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad.

4. Cookies

Favorang may set and access Favorang cookies on your computer. Favorang may let other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Favorang cookies.

Favorang may use web beacons to access Favorang cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with Favorang products and services.

5. Minors

Minors (under the age of 18) are not eligible to use the Service and request minors do not submit any personal information or use the Service.

6. Communication from Favorang

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Favorang service, such as service announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your Favorang account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

7. Communication with Other Members and Your Contacts

The objective of the Service is to facilitate the exchange of networking favors between members. Default settings allow all other members to contact you via the Service. You can limit contact from other members by adjusting your Contact Settings or blocking another member. If another user violates the Terms of Service in contacting you, please notify us via the Report Abuse function.

Communication you initiate on the Service will typically include your name.

If you chose to invite one of your contacts to join the Service or a group on the Service, the invitation sent to the contact will include your name and email address.

8. Account Information

You can view and edit your personal information and settings on the Service by logging into your account and viewing/editing your profile and settings. If you elect to close your account, you can do so by contacting customer service. After closing an account, your name and profile will be no longer be visible to other members, but Favorang may retain your data in an archive to prevent fraud and abuse, or allow reinstatement of the account.
